Create Shifts from the Mobile App – Staflexx
Authorised users can now create and publish shifts directly from the Staflexx Mobile App, making schedule management more flexible while on the move.
Roles impacted:
- Managers / Supervisors
- Authorised Scheduling Users
Value this change will add:
- Allows managers to manage schedules while away from the Web Platform
- Speeds up shift creation from mobile devices
Change Details:
- Added shift creation directly from the Mobile App Schedule
- Users can create shifts for one or multiple employees
- Shift creation follows the same key details, validation rules and costing logic as the Web Platform
- Created shifts can be published directly from the Mobile App
- Access remains controlled by the user’s scheduling permissions
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Users require appropriate Schedule access
- Requires the latest version of the Staflexx Mobile App
- Existing scheduling validation rules continue to apply

- Greater scheduling flexibility
- Reduced dependency on the Web Platform
- Faster mobile rota management
