  • Remove unnecessary levels of detail to create a cleaner and more focused report.
  • Control comparison columns such as LW (Last Week) and LY (Last Year).
  • Automatically retain each user's preferred table configuration.
  • Ensure scheduled reports reflect the user's saved Daily & Weekly Flash configuration.
  • Configure the original Daily & Weekly Flash page and Custom Dashboard components independently.
Change Details
Show/Hide Table Sections and Columns – A new Show/Hide Columns option has been introduced, allowing users to select or deselect the following elements:
  • Revenue Center
  • Session
  • Category
  • VAT
  • Share %
  • LW
  • LY
  1. By default, all available sections and columns continue to be displayed, maintaining the complete Daily & Weekly Flash view.
  2. Flexible Reporting Hierarchy – Users can simplify the reporting structure by hiding levels they do not require. For example, removing Revenue Center allows users to focus on Session totals followed by the underlying Category-level information.
  3. Alternatively, users can remove Session while retaining Revenue Center and Category information, creating a different reporting view according to their analytical requirements.
  4. Customisable Comparison Columns – Users can independently show or hide LW and LY, enabling them to retain the comparison most relevant to their analysis. VAT and Share % can similarly be removed when they are not required.
  5. User-Specific Saved Settings – Once a user applies their preferred configuration, the selection is saved specifically for that user. The user does not need to repeatedly configure the table each time they access the report.
  6. Settings Applied to Scheduled Reports – When a user creates a schedule containing the Daily & Weekly Flash table, the schedule will respect that user's saved configuration. Hidden sections and columns will remain excluded from the scheduled output.
  7. Independent Custom Dashboard Configuration – The Daily & Weekly Flash original page and any Daily & Weekly Flash component added to a Custom Dashboard maintain separate configurations. This allows users to have one preferred view on the original report while creating a different view for a specific dashboard.
Assumptions & Limitations
  • Settings are saved per user and do not change another user's Daily & Weekly Flash configuration.
  • The original Daily & Weekly Flash page and Custom Dashboard versions maintain independent settings.
  • Scheduled reports containing Daily & Weekly Flash use the applicable saved configuration of the user who created the schedule.
  • Hiding a section or column changes its visibility and accordingly alter the underlying data or calculations for selected configuration.
Impact
This enhancement gives users greater control over the Daily & Weekly Flash report by allowing them to remove information that is not relevant to their analysis. It creates cleaner, more focused reports while ensuring each user's preferred view is consistently maintained across the original report, Custom Dashboards and scheduled outputs.
