Release Date: 27th July, 2026
Summary of Changes
We've redesigned the Top & Bottom Sellers report to optimise space utilisation, improve readability, and provide a more comprehensive comparison of top and bottom-performing items within a single view. The new layout ensures scheduled PDF exports are cleaner, less cluttered, and less prone to content truncation.
Roles Impacted
  • Account Owners
  • Operations Managers
  • Area Managers
  • Restaurant Managers
  • Business Analysts
Value Added
  • Display significantly more information without increasing report length.
  • Improve readability through a cleaner, side-by-side layout.
  • Reduce clutter and minimise content truncation in PDF exports.
  • Enable quicker comparison between top and bottom-performing items.
  • Identify top and bottom items for each category parallelly.
Change Details
  • Redesigned Report Layout:
The report has been restructured to utilise available screen and PDF space more efficiently. Top Sellers and Bottom Sellers are now displayed side by side within each category, allowing users to compare performance without scrolling through lengthy sections.
  • Improved Readability:
The new layout introduces clearer visual separation between sections while maintaining consistent alignment of metrics such as Amount, Quantity and Net Sales %. This makes the report easier to scan and analyse, particularly for categories containing a large number of items.
  • Optimised PDF Exports:
The redesigned structure reduces visual clutter and makes better use of horizontal space, resulting in scheduled PDF reports that are cleaner, easier to read, and significantly less likely to have truncated content.
Assumptions & Limitations
  • By default, each category displays the Top 10 and Bottom 10 items to provide an optimal balance between readability and report size.
  • Users can choose to display 20, 50, or All items per category. However, selecting larger item counts may cause downloaded PDF reports to become longer and, depending on the content, increase the likelihood of page truncation.
  • For maximum flexibility, users can expand only the categories they wish to review, keep less relevant categories collapsed, reorder categories as required, and then use the Print Screenshot option(button on top right corner of page) to generate a PDF exactly as displayed on screen.
  • The Print Screenshot option captures the current state of the report and overrides the default 10-item display limit, ensuring the exported PDF reflects the user's customised view, including expanded categories and selected item counts.
