Summary of all Fixes:
  1. Improved Move/Copy Shift Selection
  2. Delete or Cancel Created Feeds
  3. Approved Hours Visibility on Employee Absence Screen
Details:
1. Improved Move/Copy Shift Selection
The Move/Copy Shift selection has been simplified with a smaller contextual menu positioned closer to the selected shift.
Roles impacted:
  • Managers / Supervisors
  • Scheduling Users
Value this change will add:
  • Makes moving and copying shifts quicker
  • Reduces unnecessary mouse movement and clicks
  • Provides a more intuitive scheduling experience
Change Details:
  • Replaced the existing large Move/Copy popup with a smaller selection menu
  • The menu now appears close to the relevant shift block
  • Users can quickly select either Move Shift or Copy Shift
  • Behaviour is aligned with the existing Create Shift/Create Leave Transaction menu style

Assumptions & Limitations:
  • Existing Move and Copy Shift functionality remains unchanged
  • This enhancement changes the selection experience only

  • Faster shift management
  • Fewer unnecessary interactions
  • Cleaner Schedule experience
2. Delete or Cancel Created Feeds
Feed creators and Super Admins can now delete General Feeds or cancel Announcements and Memos across Web and Mobile, with affected users automatically notified.
Roles impacted:
  • Managers / Feed Creators
  • Super Admin Users
  • Employees
Value this change will add:
  • Allows incorrect or outdated communications to be removed or cancelled
  • Maintains historical records where employee responses are required
  • Keeps affected employees informed when communications are withdrawn
Change Details:
  • General Feeds can now be permanently deleted
  • Announcements and Memos can be cancelled and retained as historical records
  • Affected users receive a notification when a Feed is deleted or cancelled
  • Functionality is available on both the Web Platform and Mobile App
  • Actions are restricted to the Feed creator and Super Admin users

Assumptions & Limitations:
  • Cancelled Announcements and Memos remain available as historical records
  • General Feeds are permanently removed when deleted
  • Users must have the required access to perform these actions
Impact:
  • Improved Feed management
  • Better communication control and audit history
  • Consistent functionality across Web and Mobile
3. Approved Hours Visibility on Employee Absence Screen
Approved Hours to Date are now displayed on the Employee Absence screen, providing greater transparency into hourly leave accrual calculations.
Roles impacted:
  • Managers / Supervisors
  • HR / Administrators
  • Payroll Teams
Value this change will add:
  • Provides greater transparency into hourly leave accrual calculations
  • Helps users understand how the accrued leave balance has been calculated
  • Reduces the need for manual calculation checks
Change Details:
  • Added Approved Hours to Date to the Employee Profile > Absences screen
  • Approved hours are calculated from the Fiscal Year start date
  • The value is displayed next to the Entitlement heading
  • Provides additional supporting information for hourly-based accruals

  • Approved hours depend on approved shift/attendance information
  • The displayed value is based on the applicable Fiscal Year
