Details:
1. Attendance Log Access Based on Scheduling Permissions
Attendance Log access now follows Scheduling permissions, ensuring consistent employee visibility across the platform.
Roles impacted:
- Managers / Supervisors
- HR Administrators
Value this change will add:
- Aligns attendance visibility with scheduling permissions
- Improves security and consistency across modules
- Reduces confusion caused by reporting-line restrictions
Change Details:
- Attendance Log access now follows Scheduling access permissions instead of Reporting Line
- Users will only see attendance information for employees they can access within Scheduling
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Scheduling permissions determine all Attendance Log visibility
- Existing reporting line configuration no longer controls access
Impact:
- More consistent user permissions
- Improved data security
- Simplified access management
2. Actual Clock-In/Out Times on Mobile Schedule
The Mobile Schedule now displays actual clock-in/out times alongside scheduled times, providing a more consistent experience with the Web App.
Roles impacted:
- Employees
- Managers / Supervisors
Value this change will add:
- Brings the Mobile Schedule experience in line with the Web App
- Provides quick access to scheduled and actual worked times
- Improves attendance visibility while on the move
Change Details:
- Added a clock icon to Mobile Schedule shift cards
- Scheduled times remain visible at the top of each shift
- Selecting the clock icon displays Actual/Approved clock-in and clock-out times beneath the scheduled times
- Show Actual Time is enabled by default
- Mobile shift cards now closely mirror the Web App presentation
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Actual times depend on approved attendance records
- Requires the latest version of the Mobile App
Impact:
- Better visibility of attendance information
- Improved consistency between Web and Mobile
- Faster access to worked hours
3. Secondary Site Scheduling Support
Scheduling now supports Departments, Sections and Positions from assigned Secondary Sites, making multi-site workforce planning easier and more accurate.
Roles impacted:
- Managers / Supervisors
- HR Administrators
- Operations Teams
Value this change will add:
- Improves scheduling flexibility across multiple sites
- Eliminates manual workarounds for multi-site employees
- Supports accurate departmental and position allocation
Change Details:
- Employees assigned to Secondary Sites can now be scheduled using the Departments, Sections and Positions configured for those sites
- Shift creation and editing now recognise organisational structures from both Primary and assigned Secondary Sites
- Behaviour now matches existing functionality available for Primary Sites
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Employees must already be assigned to the relevant Secondary Site
- Available Departments, Sections and Positions depend on site configuration
Impact:
- Easier multi-site scheduling
- Improved organisational accuracy
- Reduced administrative effort
4. Cap Leave Accrual at Entitlement Allowance for Hourly Employees
A new entitlement setting allows hourly leave accrual to be capped at the configured entitlement allowance, helping organisations better control leave balances.
Roles impacted:
- HR / Administrators
- Payroll Teams
- Managers / Supervisors
Value this change will add:
- Prevents hourly employees from accruing more leave than their entitlement allowance
- Provides greater flexibility through configurable entitlement settings
- Supports different client leave policies
Change Details:
- Added a new setting to Hourly Entitlement Plans allowing leave accrual to be capped at the configured entitlement allowance
- When enabled, hourly employees stop accruing leave once the entitlement allowance has been reached
- Setting is configurable per entitlement plan
- Existing behaviour remains unchanged unless the setting is enabled
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Applies only to Hourly Entitlement Plans
- Existing entitlement plans retain their current behaviour until configured
- Does not affect historical leave accrual calculations
Impact:
- Improved leave entitlement control
- Reduced risk of over-accrual
- Greater flexibility for client-specific leave policies
5. Payroll Lock Restricted to Payroll Service Account
The Payroll Lock feature is now restricted to the dedicated payroll service account, providing greater security and tighter control over payroll processing.
Roles impacted:
- Payroll Teams
- HR / Administrators
- System Administrators
Value this change will add:
- Improves payroll security
- Prevents unauthorised payroll lock changes
- Protects payroll processing integrity
Change Details:
- Access to the Payroll Lock feature is now restricted to the dedicated Payroll-UK@wenodo.com service account
- Payroll Lock is no longer visible or accessible to other users regardless of role
- Existing payroll lock functionality remains unchanged
Assumptions & Limitations:
- Applies to all clients
- Payroll Lock can only be managed through the designated payroll service account
Impact:
- Improved payroll governance
- Reduced risk of accidental payroll locking
- Better control over payroll administration
